The morning began peacefully off the Florida coast.
Two fishermen were traveling across the bright blue ocean in their small white boat.

Then a bottlenose dolphin suddenly appeared beside them.

Her hand finally wrapped around it.

Then they carefully helped the woman onto the deck.
She sat down safely.
One fisherman wrapped a gray emergency blanket around her.
He offered her bottled water.
His partner used the marine radio to request assistance.
Then something surfaced beside the boat.
The dolphin.
It remained nearby.
The woman looked toward the water.
