Fans couldn’t believe their eyes
When Meghan walked the red carpet on November 9, some fans were so shocked they barely recognized her.
“What happened to the bass?” one user commented, referencing her breakout 2014 anthem.
“Something about her doesn’t look real,” another added, with one more writing,
“Why do all celebrities look like wax figures now?”
Still, many came to her defense, reminding others that it’s her body, her choice.
“People can do whatever they want,” a fan wrote.

“The current trends are creepy, but Meghan looks happy — and that’s what matters.”
After some of her TikTok followers flooded her comments saying she looked “unrecognizable,” Meghan clapped back in the most Meghan way possible, by lip-syncing to rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s lyrics:
“I don’t care if these bches don’t like me. ’Cuz like, I’m pretty as fk.”
The singer made it clear she’s done letting others define her beauty.
”It’s a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here. This is what it’s like to be a woman in the music industry,” she wrote last year.
Biohacking her way to confidence
Meghan, a mother of two, has been candid about her latest health obsession, what she calls “biohacking.”
“I want to run and keep up with my kid. I want to be able to put on a bathing suit and run out there and not be in my head about it. And I want to climb up a treehouse with him,” she told People while speaking about her first son, Riley.
“Anything that will help me age backwards, I’m into it,” she said at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event.
“Make me Hailey Bieber, I’ll do it, I’ll take it”.
She revealed that she takes NAD supplements and shifted her workouts to focus more on strength training rather than endless cardio.

“I was working out so incorrectly for so long. I was running and doing cardio and my body was inflamed, always,” she admitted.
These days, Meghan says her fitness goals are less about the scale and more about feeling strong, and yes, rebuilding her famous curves.
“I lost so much weight that my booty is looking different,” she laughed.
“I was like, ‘Wait. I’m the ‘Bass’ girl with a big butt!’”
She strength-trains three times a week with her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, and eats a protein-packed diet that includes eggs, turkey bacon, and balanced meal-delivery plans.
Back to music
Despite all the chatter about her looks, Meghan says she wishes people focused more on her art.
“It’s a little disheartening that people focus on my body instead of my music,” she shared. “No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me.”
And judging by the confidence she’s radiating now — that’s one transformation worth celebrating. Would you recognize Meghan Trainor today?
