6-year-old girl dies in go-kart accident at adventure park
According to CBS12, the parent company for this particular fun park has been sued and settled multiple times in the past. One former case involved a 10-year-old who fell 20 feet off a zipline but luckily survived. Urban Air has not yet provided a comment on the fatal accident that occurred this past weekend.
In an obituary written by Emma’s parents, the little girl was described as “full of life, love and light,” touching every soul she met. The family has created a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
The family wrote Emma was at the amusement park “joyfully celebrating her sister’s birthday” when the accident occurred.
“She was adored by all who knew her and loved God with all her heart. Her faith was strong, her spirit radiant, and her kindness unmatched,” the obituary read.
“Though her time with us was far too short, Emma filled every moment with laughter, compassion, and warmth. She will forever remain a precious daughter, sister, friend, and a cherished gift from God.
“Loved God with all her heart”
“Our hearts are broken as we share the passing of our beloved Emma, who left us far too soon in an unexpected accident while joyfully celebrating her sister’s birthday at an amusement park. Full of life, love, and light, Emma touched every soul she met. She was adored by all who knew her and loved God with all her heart. Her faith was strong, her spirit radiant, and her kindness unmatched.”
Emma Riddle’s memorial will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel in Port St. Lucie, located on NW St. James Drive.
Rest in peace, sweet angel.
