I stepped onto the stage, cradling Leo, who began to stir, his eyes fluttering open. “You wanted a savior, didn’t you?” I asked, my words punctuated by the stunned silence. “I’m the one who orchestrated the deal with Aurora Holdings. It was my $500 million that saved Titan Corp from ruin, not Vanessa’s.”
The crowd murmured, a mix of confusion and intrigue. My parents looked as though the ground had opened under them.
“You lied to everyone,” I continued, addressing Vanessa directly. “And you have the audacity to strike a child—your own nephew—while claiming what wasn’t yours?”
Vanessa’s mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water, her mind scrambling for a response, but the damage was done. The truth hung heavily in the air, undeniable and damning.
“I gave you a chance,” I said, turning to my parents, my voice steady. “I gave you an opportunity to acknowledge the truth, to value our family, but you chose vanity and deceit.”

The board members, initially skeptical, began nodding, reassessing the situation. Murmurs of assent grew louder, individuals exchanging glances that confirmed the shifting tide.
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of freedom and justice finally lifting from my shoulders. “Effective immediately, Vanessa will step down from her position. I will assume full leadership of Titan Corp, and I assure you, under my guidance, integrity and fairness will be restored.”
My father’s face turned a shade akin to that of his crimson tie. “You—”
“Enough,” I interrupted, a firmness in my voice that I had never shown them before. “I will not be silenced, not by you, not by anyone.”
As the crowd began to clap, hesitant yet growing in confidence, I felt Leo’s small hand squeeze mine. His eyes, filled with innocent trust, gave me the strength to continue.
“To those of you who supported Vanessa’s deceit, I suggest you reconsider your alliances. I will be reviewing every contract, every deal, to ensure transparency and dignity in our operations.”
Turning to the audience, I concluded, “Tonight marks the beginning of a new era for Titan Corp—one built on truth and respect. Thank you.”
